The title of the session was \u2018Power Quality and Electromagnetic Compatibility\u2019.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>This paper has been co-authored with TU Dresden. The paper presents the application of single-phase battery energy storage (BESS) units for mitigating voltage unbalance levels in an unbalanced distribution network. The BESS inverters are controlled to mitigate voltage unbalance caused by single-phase and three-phase load demands which are modelled based on real data.
